Abstract:
To shorten the time required for a disengaged clutch to be engaged.
In a drive controller for a vehicle, the clutch 8 provided between wheels 32 and a transmission 9 is disengaged when the transmission 9 starts speed change operation and is engaged when the transmission 9 completes speed change operation. The number of revolutions of a motor 4 that drives the wheels 32 through the transmission 9 is controlled according to the engagement/disengagement of the clutch 8. The carrier frequency of a driving signal for driving a converter 7 is increased before the clutch 8 is engaged according to the termination of speed change operation of the transmission 9.
