Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an engine from stalling due to lowering down of its speed, when excessive running load on it, due to an obstacle or the like, in the case of running by operating together the engine and a motor generator connected to the planetary gears. SOLUTION: In the case of running by operating together an engine 14 and a motor generator 16 with a first clutch C1 and a first brake B1 released, while a second clutch C2 is engaged, whether there is a possibility of stalling by decreasing engine speed Ne or not is detected based on a change of the speed or the like, when there is a possibility of stalling, torque of the motor generator is temporarily decreased, a load acting in the engine 14 is reduced.
