Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive system capable of ensuring stable ignition start while using power assist.SOLUTION: At a time of ignition start for executing fuel injection and ignition to a target cylinder stopped in an expansion stroke to start an internal combustion engine, power assist in the rotation of a crankshaft by a MG is implemented to accompany clutch engagement. Start timing of the fuel injection and the ignition executed first to the target cylinder at the time of the ignition start is corrected and a power assist torque used to start the ignition is corrected on the basis of a combination of a relation between a cylinder internal pressure maximum value Pmax and an estimated value Pmax-est and a relation between ignition delay time T and an estimated value T-est. Furthermore, the start timing of the fuel injection and the ignition executed first to the target cylinder at the time of the ignition start is corrected and the power assist torque used to start the ignition is corrected on the basis of a combination of the relation between the cylinder internal pressure maximum value Pmax and the estimated value Pmax-est and a relation between a crank angle acceleration ACC and an estimated value ACC-est.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
