Abstract:
To provide a vehicular drive device capable of reducing the fluctuations of driving force in the entire vehicle, even if it is equipped with a drive unit for performing gear change with an engagement clutch.SOLUTION: A vehicular drive device is equipped with a front wheel drive unit that has a motor, and a control portion that controls those. The front wheel drive unit has a motor, and a transmission that is equipped with a Lo clutch and a Hi clutch interposed between an output gear and the motor. The control portion, when a traveling mode of a vehicle is set to a specified traveling mode in which acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle is automatically performed (Yes in S1), executes a Hi fixing mode that keeps a Hi state in the transmission of the front wheel drive unit (S3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
