Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive device that can quicken a response by reducing the time lag when a rotation regulating means is shifting from a released state to a locked state.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device has a difference rotation limiting means that calculates the difference between the conversion wheel rotations LWb and RWb that are the rotation state quantity of the position where a wheel speed sensor is installed obtained based on actual motor rotation and a rotation state quantity assumption value of a ring gear assumed to 0, and the actual vehicle wheel rotations LWa and RWa, controls the electric motor so that the difference is limited to below permissible rotation state amount and limits the difference rotation of the wheel.
