Abstract:
To integrate various functions such as an entertaining function of reproducing a music, receiving a radio broadcasting or the like, a communicating function of a telephone, data communication or the like, a navigating function and the like.
A dash unit 12 has a GPS receiver 40 for receiving a radio frequency signal and calculating a vehicle position from the signal, a display unit 14 for displaying navigation information and the like, and a digital data reproducer 32 for reading map information from a CD-ROM and reproducing an audio from an audio CD. A hand-set 24 functions as a remote controller and has a function of a radio telephone.
