Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle electronic key capable of reducing power consumption even more.SOLUTION: A vehicle electronic key includes: an LF reception part 21 for receiving a request signal which an on-vehicle machine mounted on a vehicle transmits; an RF transmission part 22 for transmitting a response signal responding to the request signal; a key control part 26 for determining whether or not the request signal has been received based on the signal from the LF reception part 21, and for causing the RF transmission part 22 to transmit the response signal based on the determination that the request signal has been received; and an acceleration sensor 25 for detecting acceleration generated on a vehicle electronic key 2, and for setting a vibration detection flag based on the determination that vibration equal to or greater than a threshold value has been detected from the detected acceleration. The key control part 26 reads out the vibration detection flag and brings the vehicle electronic key into a response permission state for responding to the request signal based on the fact that the vibration detection flag is set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
