Abstract:

To provide a vehicle engine control device having an automatic centrifugal clutch preventing lowering of the traveling feeling of an occupant by preventing starting by an increase of engine rotation contrary to the intention, and preventing excessive engine braking effect by fuel cut or ignition cut even though an ISC mechanism develops a failure in an engine unit having the idle speed control (ISC) mechanism and the automatic centrifugal clutch.

This device has an engine stop control means (ECM) controlling engine stop including in a stop condition a status that an engine speed becomes a first predetermined rotational speed or more on the basis of the first predetermined rotational speed set to the clutch joining rotational speed or below of an automatic centrifugal clutch device.
