Abstract:
To provide a harness protection structure of a vehicle engine which can protect a harness from a collision with another member without increasing the number of components even if the harness is disposed near a front end part of an upper surface of an engine body.SOLUTION: In a vehicle engine 3, a harness has: a main harness 21 disposed near a front end part of an upper surface of an engine body 4; and a branch harness which branches from the main harness 21 and is connected to an electric component at a side end part of the engine body 4. A front attachment bracket 31G of an air cleaner 30 is formed into a shape that covers the front side of the main harness 21. The air cleaner 30 has a recess part 31D at the rear side of the front attachment bracket 31G. The main harness 21 is formed having a diameter larger than the branch harness and is disposed in a space sandwiched at front and rear sides by the front attachment bracket 31G and the recess part 31D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
