Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in a load transmission efficiency of a front side spacer at a fine lap collision.SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower first beads 66 extending in a longitudinal direction are formed in an inner wall 52 of a front-spacer 50, and the first beads 66 are protruded outward in a vehicle width direction, so that when a collision load from a rear and obliquely left side is inputted to a front end part of the inner wall 52, the first beads 66 operate so as to support inner walls 52 (general parts 52A-52C) vertically adjacent to each other from outside in the vehicle width direction. This can suppress the inner wall 52 from falling and deforming toward outside in the vehicle width direction in the beginning at a fine lap collision of a vehicle V. Moreover, total dimensions (total of vertical dimensions a-c) in a vertical direction of the general parts 52A-52C of the inner wall 52 are set to be larger than total dimensions in a vertical direction of the first beads 66 (the total of dimensions d of the pair of first beads 66). This can effectively suppress the inner wall 52 as a whole from falling and deforming toward outside in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
