Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively transfer a load from a front cowl to a front pillar when the load is acted from vehicle front side.SOLUTION: A front pillar inner 10 includes: a side wall 11 extending obliquely downwards in a vehicle front side from vehicle rear side; and a mounting wall 12 extending from an upper edge of the side wall 11 towards inside in the vehicle width direction. A front cowl 20 includes: a plate-shaped cowl top panel 21 whose outside edge in the vehicle width direction is fixed to the mounting wall 12; a plate-shaped cowl inner panel 30 fixed to the rear end of the cowl top panel 21 and extending vehicle frontwards; and a cowl side brace 40 fixed to a front wall 34 and the outside of a front side flange 35 in the vehicle width direction in the cowl inner panel 30. A mounting portion 15 of the front pillar inner 10 and a mounting flange 43 of the cowl side brace 40 are connected to each other via a wiper mounting bracket 50 provided with a bolt hole 52a for fixing a wiper device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
