Abstract:
To restrict wind disturbance caused by a wiper at a lower end of a front windshield without impairing design viewed from a driver.SOLUTION: A vehicle front part structure disclosed in this description comprises: a hood panel 10 covering a front compartment of a vehicle and provided with a recess 11 in an upper surface rear part thereof; and a hood garnish 20 mounted in the recess 11. An upper surface rear part 22 of the hood garnish 20 is inclined such that a rear end thereof is higher than a front end thereof, and an inclination angle thereof is larger than an inclination angle of the upper surface front part 11 of the hood garnish 20. By not inclining an upper surface rear end of the hood panel itself but adopting the hood garnish an upper surface rear end of which is inclined, a folded portion of an outer hood panel is prevented from being located within a driver's visual field (impairing of design is prevented), and wind disturbance caused by a wiper can be restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
