Abstract:
To provide a vehicle front part structure capable of widening a range formed by a material of relatively low strength, while securing the strength required for supporting a hood lock device.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes: an upper portion 14 extending in a vehicle width direction above a vehicle front part; an intake duct 20 having a cylindrical peripheral wall 21 extending in the vehicle width direction and integrated with an upper part of the upper portion 14; and a hood lock device 50 provided on a front wall 22 of the intake duct 20. The intake duct 20 has an upper member 61 composing an upper part of the peripheral wall 21 and a lower member 60 composing a lower part of the peripheral wall 21. The lower member 60 is formed integrally with the upper portion 14 by a material higher in strength than the upper member 61. In the front wall 22 of the intake duct 20, the vertical occupation area of the lower member 60 is large in a central portion in the vehicle width direction in which the hood lock device 50 is provided, in comparison with that of the left portion or the right portion of the vehicle in which the hood lock device 50 is not provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
