Abstract:
To become advantageous in falling an upper body of a pedestrian toward a hood side when a vehicle front portion and the pedestrian collide with each other, and to efficiently absorb an impact load when a leg portion of the pedestrian abuts on a foot sweeping member.SOLUTION: When a vehicle front portion and a pedestrian collide with each other and an impact load is inputted in a foot sweeping member 24, stress concentration occurs in a first bending portion 34A and a second bending portion 34B of the foot sweeping member 24, and the foot sweeping member 24 displaces downward while displacing to a rear side of a vehicle. Therefore, foot sweeping of the pedestrian with the foot sweeping member 24 is certainly performed, and it is advantageous or protecting pedestrians. Further, a mounting bracket 34 deforms so as to deploy with the locations of the first bending portion 34A and the second bending portion 34B as supporting points by the stress concentration, thereby efficiently absorbing the impact load, and it is advantageous or protecting pedestrians.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
