Abstract:
A fuel tank device for a motorcycle is provided to support a pump unit to be separated from a placing surface by installing stand members at a bottom wall of a fuel tank. In a fuel tank device for a motorcycle, a fastening hole(59) is formed on a bottom wall(58b) of a fuel tank(23) mounted on a vehicle frame. A pump unit(60) protruded from the bottom wall downwards is inserted in the fuel tank from the fastening hole. A flange portion(61) fixed to the bottom wall around the fastening hole is installed in the pump unit. Stand members(74) are installed at the bottom wall of the fuel tank to mount the fuel tank separated from the vehicle frame, on a placing surface(72). The stand member is installed to lift a bottom end of the pump unit from the placing surface.
