Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle gearshift control device and a vehicle gearshift control method which control gear shifting using a corrective tendency index correcting a long-term driving tendency of a driver when the same has a difference between the long-term driving tendency and a short-term driving tendency of the driver.SOLUTION: A vehicle gearshift control device comprises: a data detection section which detects data for gearshift control; and a control unit which calculates a short-term driving tendency index and a long-term driving tendency index of a driver on the basis of the data and controls an engine or a transmission with the short-term driving tendency index or the long-term driving tendency index of the driver. The control unit: calculates a difference between the short-term driving tendency index and the long-term driving tendency index; and controls gear shifting with a corrective tendency index correcting the long-term driving tendency index when the difference between the short-term driving tendency index and the long-term driving tendency index is equal to or larger than a reference index difference.
