To provide a vehicle having an auxiliary driving motor for a rear wheel, which has an in-wheel motor on the rear wheels, and is excellent in running property and riding comfortability.
On the rear wheels of a vehicle driven by front wheels by rotating force of an internal combustion engine, an in-wheel motor 3 is loaded. The in-wheel motor 3 is constituted in such a manner that a non-rotation side case 3a of the motor and a knuckle 5 are supported by a cushioning mechanism 10. In this case, the cushioning mechanism 10 is equipped with a linear moving guide 13 comprising a linear bearing 13A and a rod 13B, plates 11 and 12 which are connected by a linear moving guide 15 integrally constituted of spring members 14 and 14 moving in the vertical direction of the vehicle, and a damper 16 which moves in the vertical direction of the vehicle and connects the plates 11 and 12. Namely, the in-wheel motor 3 is constituted in such a manner that the motor is supported to either one or both of the lower section of vehicle spring and the car body by the cushioning mechanism.
