To provide a vehicle having a driver's seat capable of adjusting inclination, and an adjusting method therefor.
When the vehicle starts climbing down a mountain or traveling downhill, an inclination sensor 9 detects the difference in the angular position of the seat 12 relative to a horizon H, and a servomotor 4 is activated by a control means 2. Thus, the telescopic rod (adjusting means) 4a of this servomotor is sent out, and the driver's seat is rotated backward by an angle α. As a result, the inclination -α of the slope is compensated correspondingly, and the seat 12 remains parallel to the horizon H. The more accurately the control system operates, the more accurately the parallelism of the seat 12 relative to the horizon H is maintained. During rotation movement, a guide of the driver's seat 10 is performed along a guide rail 7 extending in a bow shape. These guide rails travel between rollers 5 and 6 ; 13 and 14. The rotation movement is made by letting an imaginary turning point P as the center. This turning point is selected such that the turning point is in the neighborhood of the center of mass of a user.
