This vehicle headlamp device has one filament 17f disposed nearly parallel to an optical axis x-x and the other filament 17r disposed behind the filament 17f; a bulb 15 having a shading means 18 covering a portion from the front of the filament 17f to a portion corresponding to a nearly rear end thereof, formed with not-shading parts 18a in a portion corresponding to the sides of the filament 17f; and reflector having reflection areas 19a, 19bl, 19br, 19c, 20bl, 20br reflecting light of the filament 17f radiated from the non-shading parts 18a of the shading means 18 such that the front distant place of a driver is illuminated.
