The vehicle headlamp includes the lamp unit having a light source and a reflector arranged in a lamp chamber which is demarcated by a cover lens and a housing constructed so as to come around from the front to the side of a vehicle, and the lamp unit is supported by screwing a male screw portion 105a1 of an optical axis adjusting bolt supported by a bearing portion of the vehicle center portion on the rear wall of the housing and a female thread portion of the lamp unit, and by screwing the male screw portion of the optical axis adjusting bolt supported by the bearing portion of the vehicle side face portion on the rear wall of the housing and the female thread portion of the lamp unit. An auxiliary bearing member to support the optical axis adjusting bolt rotatably is arranged on the front side of the bearing portion.
