Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent boiloff of fuel just after oiling by narrowing a vent passage when the liquid surface height of fuel in a fuel tank attains a first liquid surface height, and arranging a valve means for closing the vent passage when the liquid surface height attains a level higher than the first liquid surface height.
SOLUTION: Fuel evaporation gas in the upper space in a fuel tank is ventilated to an atmosphere side through a vent passage 222a by oiling discharging pressure of fuel at the time of oiling of fuel. When the liquid surface height of fuel in the fuel tank attains a first liquid surface height, the vent passage 222a is narrowed by valve means 230, 240, 242. Fuel evaporation gas in condition compressed by the oiling discharging pressure is ventilated to the atmosphere side through the vent passage 222a narrowed continuously by the valve means 230, 240, 242 until the liquid surface height attains a second liquid surface height. It is thus possible to suitably prevent boiloff of fuel caused by expansion of compressed fuel evaporation gas.
