Abstract:

To easily install a vehicle height detector in a vehicle.

A wheel-side transmission section 10 is arranged at the side of a wheel 51 under a spring in a vehicle 50 to transmit pulsation signals periodically at prescribed transmission timing. A body-side reception section 11 is arranged at the side of a body 52 above the spring in a vehicle to receive pulsation signals transmitted from the wheel-side transmission section 10. The body-side reception section 11 executes processing for detecting vehicle height in the vehicle 50, based on transmission/reception time from the time when the pulsation signals are transmitted from the wheel-side transmission section 10 to the time when they are received by the body-side reception section 11, and the reception strength of the pulsation signals at the body-side reception section 11.
