To provide a vehicle indoor lamp control system enabling the unification of the specifications of controlling ECUs.
Electric fitting connectors 2a, 2b, 2c interposed between a controlling ECU 1 and lamp units 3a, 3b, 3c of different types receive a control signal transmitted from the ECU 1 via a communication line C, and in response to the received control signal, emit the current for lighting the vehicle indoor lamps included in the lamp units 3a, 3b, 3c. That is, the difference in the variation between the lamp units 3a, 3b, 3c resulting from the difference in the types of the vehicle indoor lamps is absorbed by the electric fitting connectors 2a, 2b, 2c. Accordingly the ECU 1 is required only to emit the control signal complying with the types of the lamp units 3a, 3b, 3c, and it is possible to unify the hardware specifications of controlling ECUs 1.
