To provide an on-vehicle indoor lamp unit which adopts a general purpose compact bulb cassette which does not have a heat shielding function as the bulb cassette, prevents thermal deformation caused by radiation heat from a bulb using heat shielding plates integrally molded when a bus bar made of a conductive metal member is punched and molded, and blocks the radiation heat from the bulb by the heat shielding plates thereby achieving the protection of the base from thermal damage and low costs.
An on-vehicle indoor lamp unit according to this invention includes: a base which is formed by a heat labile thermoplastic resin and has a housing shape; a bus bar which is mounted on the base, the bus bar where heat shield plates erected on positions near a general purpose bulb are integrally molded therewith; a bulb holder electrically connected with the bus bar; a general purpose vertical type bulb casette including the bulb holder and having a socket function; the general purpose bulb which is attached to the bulb cassette in a vertical direction and is electrically connected with the bulb holder; and a lens attached to a front surface of the base.
