Abstract:
To irradiate a door trim with light of a wide range compared with a situation when a light source is installed in a door trim itself.SOLUTION: A light source 12 is installed at an end of an instrument panel 18 of a vehicle 16. Light emitted from the light source 12 travels from an instrument panel 18 side toward a door panel 24 so that a surface of the door trim 26 of the door panel 24 is irradiated with the light. A decorative member 14 is arranged on an irradiation surface side of the light source 12, and when light from the light source 12 passes the decorative member 14, a pattern 30 is formed according to the light on the surface of the door trim 26. Since the light source 12 is installed on the instrument panel 18 spaced away from the door trim 26 and not on the door trim 26 itself, the door trim 26 can be irradiated with light of a wide range. Additionally, presentation of a changing pattern 30 can be realized according to an opening angle of a door.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
