Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a destination based on a driver's driving history and also almost accurately estimate required time.
SOLUTION: This device detects driving start and end by driving start and end detecting means (6 and 10) and accumulates and records a driving start place, a driving end place, and the date, day of the week, hour, time and travel distance when they take place. When the driving start and end detecting means detect driving start, destination estimating means (14 and 15) estimate the destination and required time of driving based on driving start time and a day of the week which are detected by a clocking means, information about the present position that is detected by a present place detecting means 1 and information stored in a driving history storing means 11, and an outputting means 5 outputs information about the name of a driving destination and information about the required time to the destination.
