To enhance the operationality of an information display device for a vehicle by controlling properly the indication on a concentrated display corresponding to on-vehicle apparatuses switched off.

The information display device 1 for the vehicle is structured so that operation items a1..., b1..., c concerning a plurality of on-vehicle apparatuses 5-7 are indicated in the display regions A-C set on the concentrated display 12, and allows the on-vehicle apparatuses 5-7 to execute the desired motions by for example, selecting the operation items a1.. using an operating means 16, wherein if at least one of the apparatuses 5-7 is turned off by the operating means 16, an Off indication is given in the display region of the concentrated display 12 corresponding to the on-vehicle apparatus switched off, to be followed by switch off, and the Off indication is lighted again when selecting the operation items a1.. is conducted by the operating means 16 while the Off indication remains out.
