Abstract:

To improve display impression while increasing the quantity of the display information.

A vehicle instrument 10 includes: a mechanical meter 12 mounted to a vehicle instrument panel; and a projector 13 which projects images for allowing the same to be superimposed with an indicator of the mechanical meter 12. The projector 13 projects to the display the graphic image according to the type of the display content to superimpose the alarmed images with a pointer 23 of the mechanical meter 12 and the periphery of the pointer 23 if the display content represents the alarm. The projector 13 superimposes the regional image indicating the economic driving region in response to the vehicle driving condition with a graduation indicator of the mechanical meter 12.
