Abstract:
To provide a vehicle intake system which enables adjustment of an air intake amount while decreasing a temperature of intake air supplied to an engine and also enables discharge of foreign objects included in outer air with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A vehicle intake system 10 includes a first intake passage part 20 having a first intake port 22 provided at a downstream side of a grille 6 at a vehicle front part and a foreign object discharge port 26. Further, the vehicle intake system 10 includes a second intake passage part 30 having a closable door 34 which is controlled to be opened or closed by a control part 40 and a second intake port 32 provided at a downstream side of the first intake port 22 relative to the grille 6. In the first intake passage part 20, an inner wall surface corresponding to the foreign object discharge port 26 has inclination that changes a route of a part of the intake air from the first intake port 22 to cause the intake air to flow from the foreign object discharge port 26 to the second intake port 32. The control part 40 causes the closable door 34 to be in a closed state when a vehicle is in an operation state in which discharge of the foreign objects from the foreign object discharge port 26 is estimated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
