Abstract:
To provide a vehicle interior member capable of being decorated by light emission.SOLUTION: A decoration part 20 of a vehicle interior member 10 is provided with a skin material 22 and a light guide part 24 overlapped with and provided on the back side of the skin material 22 so as to support the skin material 22. The light guide part 24 is configured such that the surface thereof emits light by light irradiated toward a light incident part 26 provided on the end surface. The skin material 22 is provided with a surface layer 32 made of a solid synthetic resin or genuine leather that does not transmit light, and a buffer layer 34 composed of a foam laminated on the back side of the surface layer 32. The decorative part 20 has a light passing part 36 penetrating the skin material 22 at a position overlapping with the front side of the light guide part 24, and light of the light guide part 24 emitted from the surface is passed through the light passing part 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
