Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress electromagnetic radiation from an aperture formed between a reflector to which a conductive film is affixed and a metal cover placed behind an electric discharge bulb in a vehicle lamp fitting with the bulb.
SOLUTION: A shield plate 24 bent along a back of reflector 3 is placed in the vicinity of the circumferential edge of a bulb fixing hole of the reflector 3 to which a discharge bulb 5 is affixed. The shield plate 24 is provided with legs 242, 243 and is fixed together with a socket fixture supporting the discharge bulb in the bulb fixing hole. A metal cover 22 is placed to cover a rear portion of the discharge lamp 5 from the back of the reflector 3. The shield plate 24 is grounded through the socket fixture and the like, thereby enabling suppressing of electromagnetic radiation from an aperture formed between the reflector 3 and the metal cover 22 in particular.
