To provide a vehicle lamp capable of obtaining a plurality of light distribution patterns without involving addition of semiconductor-type light sources and reflectors in a single lamp unit.
By moving a flat-face reflector 12 by a driving means 19 in a predetermined direction by a predetermined distance, reflective optical paths L1, L2 reflected on the flat-face reflector 12 and headed toward a projection lens 14 are changed so that a light distribution direction of a light distribution pattern projected in front of the lamp from the projection lens 14 is changed. As a result, due to variable control of the flat-face reflector 12, a headlamp can obtain a plurality of light distribution patterns by way of a low-beam light distribution pattern and a light distribution pattern for running.
