Abstract:
To provide a vehicle lighting device capable of improving light extraction efficiency and preventing a crack from occurring on a frame part, and provide a vehicle lamp.SOLUTION: A vehicle lighting device according to the embodiment comprises: a socket; a substrate provided on one end part side of the socket, and having a wiring pattern; a light emitting element provided on the substrate, and electrically connected to the wiring pattern; a frame part provided on the substrate, and surrounding the light emitting element; and a sealing part provided inside the frame part, and covering the light emitting element. When an area of a region located inside the frame part on the surface of the substrate is defined as S1(mm2), and an exposed area of a region located inside the frame part on the surface of the substrate is defined as S2(mm2), the vehicle lighting device satisfies the following relation: 0.04≤S2(mm2)/S1(mm2)≤0.23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
