Abstract:
To provide a vehicle lighting device in which ornamental design of vehicle interior material is improved by giving visual effect due to lighting to a crew member, and at the same time, space is saved in vehicle indoor and outdoor directions.SOLUTION: A vehicle lighting device includes: (A) a light guide plate 40 which is a tabular light guide member facing a vehicle cabin and has (a) a body part 41 serving as a light emission surface 41a forming an ornamental design surface of a vehicle interior material 14 by a surface inside the vehicle cabin and emitting light toward the inside of the vehicle cabin and serving as a light reflection surface 41b having an uneven shape by a surface outside the vehicle cabin and emitting light and (b) a light incident part 42a disposed along a part of an outer edge of the body part 41 and where light is incident; and (B) a light source unit 30 which has a light source 31, and a light guide bar 32 disposed facing the light incident part 42a by forming a longitudinal shape along the light incident part 42a, where light of the light source 31 is incident from one end of the light guide bar in a longitudinal direction, and which emits light while guiding the incident light from the light source 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
