To provide a vehicular lighting device that improves decorativeness for a lighting object in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting device 1 for irradiating a lighting object 210 in a vehicle (100) includes: a diffraction grating 30; and a light supplying unit 50 for supplying light L0 to the diffraction grating 30. The vehicular lighting device irradiates the lighting object 210 with diffraction light L1 dispersed by the diffraction grating 30 from the light L0 that has been supplied to the diffraction grating 30. The vehicular lighting device 1 may irradiate a non-spectral lighting object 220 different from the lighting object 210 with light L2 that has passed through the diffraction grating 30 but not been dispersed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
