Abstract:
To provide a vehicle lower part structure in which a battery is disposed at a storage part of a vehicle lower part and a through hole is provided at a bottom plate (a floor of a vehicle) of the storage part located immediately below or near the battery and which can prevent damage of the battery even if a flame occurs under the vehicle.SOLUTION: In a vehicle lower part structure 10, a battery 12 is disposed in a storage part 18A of a vehicle lower part and a through hole 14 is provided at a bottom plate 18 of the storage part 18A. A heat insulator 16A (a flame shielding plate) which is deformed by heat is provided below the bottom plate. At least a part of the through hole 14 is disposed in a gap S between the heat insulator 16A (the flame shielding plate) and a peripheral member provided below the bottom plate of the storage part 18A. The heat insulator 16A (the flame shielding plate) does not cover the through hole 14 in a non-deformed state and covers the through hole 14 in a deformed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
