Abstract:
To automatically and efficiently control, without troubles, ETC vehicles parked on roads.
This road parking control system includes an antenna 3 forming a radio communications region in a predetermined area on the road and making radio communications with an on-vehicle device 2 mounted in a vehicle 1 entering the predetermined area, to obtain vehicle information from the on- vehicle device 2; and a control device 4 for measuring the time during which the vehicle 1 stays in the predetermined area on the basis of this vehicle information obtained by means of the antenna 3 and, if the measured staying time of the vehicle 1 exceeds a preset time, reporting it to a control center as a parking violation.
