To reduce the number of parts for attaching a meter and to allow the meter be attached compactly in a meter attaching structure for a vehicle and a motorcycle.
A handlebar 11 is fixed to a turning member, an upper bracket 2 for example, turning with a steering shaft 5 by a handlebar holder 12, and a meter 13 is attached to the handlebar holder 12. The handlebar holder 12 is constructed preferably of a lower holder member 22 arranged integrally with the upper bracket 2, an upper holder member 21 embracing the handlebar 11 with the lower holder member 22, and a hinge shaft 25 rotatably connecting both holder members 21, 22, with the hinge shaft 25 being provided with a meter supporting shaft section 35 tiltably supporting the meter 13. Also, the hinge shaft 25 and the meter supporting shaft section 35 are preferably positioned on a same axis O1.
