Abstract:
To provide a vehicle and a method for controlling the same which rapidly take out the power of an expander, thereby improving fuel consumption.SOLUTION: When the actual state of a working fluid W is a state where power cannot be taken out from an expander 17, and is predicted to be a state where the power can be taken out from the expander 17, a propeller shaft 5 is made independent from the power transmission system of a power transmission mechanism 6 by the power transmission mechanism 6, and power transmission is made possible between a motor generator 3 and the expander 17. At the same time, control is performed such that exhaust gas G is allowed to pass through an evaporator 16 by a bypass valve 11, and that the motor generator 3 is put in a standby state. After the motor generator 3 is put in the standby state, when the actual state of the working fluid W approaches the state where the power can be taken out from the expander 17 from the state where the power cannot be taken out, the expander 17 is started with power from the motor generator 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
