Abstract:
To provide a mirror device for a vehicle which suppresses reduction in a fastening force between a metallic support shaft and a resin base while suppressing manufacture costs.SOLUTION: A support shaft 40 is made of metal, and rotatably supports a mirror unit 20. A base 30 is made of a resin, and is fixed to a vehicle body door panel 1. A stud bolt 50 has one end 51 fixed to a support shaft 40, and has the other end 53 penetrating through the base 30. A nut 60 is screwed with the other end 53 of the stud bolt 50, and sandwiches the base 30 between the nut 60 and the stud bolt 50. The belt 30 has a projection 32 projecting toward the nut 60 in a portion facing the nut 60. Thereby, the base 30 is easily collapsed during fastening of the nut 60, and the nut 60 can be fastened until it is brought into contact with the stud bolt 50 without using a special bolt endurable to a high torque. Therefore, a metal fastening structure is provided that the metal stud bolt 50 and the nut 60 are brought into contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
