The navigation ECU 14 includes: a peripheral monitoring mode setting means 60 for setting a peripheral monitoring mode from a face angle of the driver 38 detected by the face direction detection ECU 36; a camera selection means 62 for selecting a proper imaging camera from a plurality of those cameras, in accordance with the angle of the face detected by the face angle determination means 60; and an enlargement and display means 66 for enlarging a specific area meeting the face angle of the driver when a plurality of specific areas are preliminarily set to be imaged by an imaging camera 52.
