PURPOSE: To surely and accurately notify a driver of the degree of margin by generating artificial sounds of a squeal tone of tires to notify the driver of the degree of margin to the limit of the motion of the vehicle basing on the operating state of the vehicle.

CONSTITUTION: In this vehicle motion limit margin degree notifying device, a synthetic slip ratio SR of each wheel is calculated basing on a vehicle speed VV, a wheel velocity VW, and a slip angle α (S1 to S5), and an average value of the synthesized slip ratio SR of all of tires of the vehicle is calculated (S6), and a speaker is so driven that louder artificial squeal sounds are generated when this average value is larger.
