To provide a motor 2 having little vibrations and a fuel pump using the motor by a method wherein an inclination suppressing means which suppresses an inclination of an axis of an armature 22 relative to the axes of both bearings 23 and 24.
An imaginary plane P, which is perpendicular to the bisector of an angle between lines connecting a shaft center Ca of an armature 22 with centers Cb of respective brushes 21, and further, includes the shaft center Ca of the armature 22, is provided. A second magnet 28 is provided in a space on one side of the plane P so as to face the respective brushes 21 with a plane P between. The center 28a of the second magnet 28 in its axial direction is shifted from a center 222a of a core 222 in its axial direction by a length D in the direction of a first pressing force Fb. With such a constitution, angular moment Mb applied to the armature 22 by the brushes 21 is canceled and the inclination of the armature 22 is eliminated, so that the vibration of the motor 2 in operation can be suppressed and the vibration of a fuel pump 1 can be suppressed.
