Vehicle-mounted equipment 10 comprises an operation button for operating a switch, and a housing cover 11 for the vehicle-mounted equipment 10 that has an opening for disposing the operation button 13 therein. The operation button 13 comprises a pressing surface 13M for operation which is disposed to be exposed from the opening of the housing cover 11, and mounted so as to be withdrawable relative to the housing cover 11 when the pressing surface 13M is pressed down. An edge member 133 surrounding the pressing surface 13M of the operation button 13 is concealed behind the housing cover 11 and opposes an internal wall 11W of the housing cover. At least one portion of the edge member 133 of the operation button 13 has a protrusion 134 having a front end shaped to be nearest to the internal wall 11W of the housing cover.
