PURPOSE: To miniaturize a vehicle-mounted type refrigerator installed at a taxi or the like and used for providing a drink to a passenger, improve a degree of freedom in installation, enable its installation within a narrow space and at the same time to improve its handling characteristic.

CONSTITUTION: A metallic cooling case 7 having a cylindrical container storing part 7a is fixed through a heat transfer plate 5 to one cooling side of a thermo- electrical element 4 stored in a main body 2 of a case in which a lid 2 is attached to an opening 2a in such a way that the lid 2 can be opened or closed and concurrently a thermal radiation plate 6 having many thermal radiation fins 6a at its rear surface is fixed to the other thermal radiation side of the thermo-electrical element 4 in such a way that the thermal radiation fins may face in a lateral direction. Then, an air discharging fan 9 for discharging heat within the case main body 2 out of the refrigerator is fixed. In addition, the cooling case 7 is covered around by thermal insulating material 8 in order to improve its cold heat keeping effect.
