Abstract:
To provide a vehicle occupant restraint system capable of protecting an occupant during a rollover of a vehicle body.
When a rollover of a vehicle body is detected or predicted by a roll sensor 12, a front airbag 13 is deployed in front of an occupant M, and a rear airbag 14 is deployed to push the occupant M forward. Since the occupant M is pushed against the deployed front airbag 13 and held thereby, any movement of the occupant M from a seat 2 can be suppressed.
