Abstract:

To provide a vehicle peripheral vision confirming device capable of providing a vehicle peripheral image switable for in the safety confirmation in accordance with the turning of a vehicle.

Image picking-up parts 2a and 2b are mounted on an automobile for picking up images of a left side and a right side. A turning angle of a steering wheel is detected by a turning angle detecting means 5, an angle of rotation of the image picking-up parts 2a and 2b are determined to turn the image picking-up parts 2a and 2b in the direction opposite to the turning direction of the automobile by a rotation control means 4 on the basis of the detection signal, and the image picking-up parts 2a and 2b are rotated right or left to pick up an image of an obliquely front part or an obliquely rear part from the left side or the right side of the automobile on the basis of the determined angle of rotation.
