Abstract:
To provide a vehicle periphery display device that can present an image depending on a vehicle situation to a driver without a sense of discomfort and with good visibility, without increasing the number of cameras imaging an external peripheral region of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle periphery display device provided in a vehicle 100 comprises: a right imaging unit 11 and a left imaging unit 12 that acquire imaged images from a front side direction to a back side direction of the vehicle 100. The imaged images imaged by the right imaging unit 11 and the left imaging unit 12 are processed into display images having display areas depending on a driving situation to be displayed on a display unit within the vehicle. An area (area R1) of a display image in a case in which a predetermined operation situation condition is satisfied (eg., in a case in which a direction indicator is operated) is made wider than an area (area R2) of the display image in a case in which the operation situation condition is not satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
