Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small on-vehicle pump.SOLUTION: A pump 1 for a fire vehicle includes: a power input shaft 10 which is connected to a PTO device to rotate; a pump shaft 31 provided at a rotation center of an impeller 32; and a chain transmission mechanism 20 which transmits rotation of the power input shaft 10 to the pump shaft 31. The pump 1 for the fire vehicle may further include a pump housing 30 in which a water suction port 30A and a discharge port 30B are formed. The pump housing 30 may include: an impeller chamber 30D which houses the impeller 32 and suctions water from the water suction port 30A; and a rectification chamber 30F which communicates with the impeller chamber 30D and guides water flowing from the impeller chamber 30D thereinto to the discharge port 30B. The rectification chamber 30F may have a shape such that a cross sectional area increases toward a downstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
