Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rear seat seating environment including space, a sense of openness and a refleshing feeling in a pickup type motor truck by pivotally supporting the upper edge part of a partition wall along a shaft extended in the cross direction of a vehicle at the rear upper part of a cabin, making the partition wall rotatable upward to the rear part of a vehicle body from a vertical position, and providing a partition wall holding member.
SOLUTION: The upper edge part of a partition wall 10 with a window is pivotally supported along a shaft extended in the cross direction of a vehicle at the rear upper part of a cabin, and the partition wall 10 is rotatable upward to the rear part of a vehicle body from a nearly vertical position. A partition wall holding member is provided to hold the partition wall 10 into a specified position. Fixing mechanism is formed of an L-shape lever inserted in a fixing hole or a lock groove bored on a rail 8, and energized by a spring. When the partition wall 10 is sprung up by about 90° in the direction of an arrow mark D, a pair of stays enclosed inside fixed gates on both sides of a deck 2 are rotated in a direction T to support the rotated partition wall 10. A pair of gas stays can be arranged on both sides to reduce labor in the case of springing up the partition wall 10.
